Kevin Arthur McIntyre, husband of the late Sandra McIntyre, passed away peacefully at the Nipawin Hospital on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the age of 61 years.
Kevin was born April 10, 1961 in Saskatoon. He was the chosen son of Jack and Ferelie McIntyre. He attended the Arborfield School and furthered his education taking Motor Vehicle Mechanical Repair Course at Natonium Community College. He graduated from the pre-employment program April 20, 1979. Kevin obtained employment with Pasquia Equipment Limited after graduation.
On July 29, 1979 life changed for Kevin after an accident which left him as a quadriplegic. He had a vehicle equipped with hand controls and he and his parents made adjustments to make his daily life more comfortable.
In 1997 on the internet Kevin met his soulmate Sandra Tullen an American gal from sunny California. They were married October 8, 2000 in San Jose, California. The climate allowed Kevin a freedom of movement daily. Health care offered by Saskatchewan was the key to life here.
Kevin leaves to mourn his passing a brother Jim (Julie) McIntyre of Tucson, Arizona, his 102 year old aunt Winnie (Bowes) Hamre of Pineview Lodge, Nipawin, a very close lifetime friend Lenny (Jeannette) Lindsay and a large family of numerous cousins and friends who he had a special bond with.
