Brian Schwartz was born July 7, 1955 on the family farm near Cupar, SK. He was the third child of nine born to Charlette (Serfas) and Leo Schwartz. He went to school at Cupar for kindergarten where he spoke German until the age of seven.
In 1964 the family moved to the Snowden area to the new family farm, where Brian lived until he decided to move out on his own. He worked on the highway with his brothers Terry and Randy. He also worked in the bush with many great men and made lifelong friends.
He met Judy Wilson and they created a life together and got married on September 25, 1982. He gained an instant family with Judy and her sons Kevin and Terry. Brian loved them like his own children.
On July 23, 1986 Brian and Judy were blessed with their daughter Dawn. Later they moved to Alberta for work. On July 3, 1990 they were blessed with their last child Kent.
Years later they moved back to Nipawin, SK to be closer to family. Over the years Brian’s health gradually declined. Brian lived his last year and a half in Pineview as he wished, so he could receive the care he needed.
Brian was predeceased by: his parents Leo and Charlotte Schwartz, his sister Suzette and brothers Randy and Sheldon, his in-laws Harry and Evelyn Wilson, his sister-in-laws Sandra Salisbury and Cathy Wilson, brother-in-law Rick Chester, granddaughter Emma and numerous nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles.
